April 2010
My latest song with Janis Kay 'Feeling's Getting Strong' has
just been released internationally on all main music download stores.
My original mix (Exhibit Mix) is in a dance/disco/funky pop style and features top jazz musician William South on bass.
There is also a great contemporary remix by Ripper Productions.
Janis Kay has been touring clubs and schools in the UK to promote the song and receiving great feedback.

I have
just released two compilation albums of music on iTunes and other
music download sites such as Amazon. (to buy music search 'Richard
Amos' on websites or click thumbnail links on the
homepage).
The first album 'Eclectic: Retrospective' is a
compilation of music from earlier albums previously only available
on CD and some older previously unreleased material such as 'Piano
Improvisation 1986'.
There is a wide mix of styles from classic
electronic, dance and new age etc. 
The second album
'Private Cafe' is more recent material. The album is a mix of music
I have produced for media films. Some of the music has been
re-worked and re-produced. The music falls into chill out and
down tempo electronica categories.
I am also busy
working with Janis Kay. We are releasing and promoting 'Feelings
Getting Strong' in July with several top remixes.
Also,

have just done a top remix of 'Real' my Evolve song with Niki
Mak '.

Since December I've been having a bit of a break but there has
still been lots going on ! My award-winning project with DJ Cristo
and Heidi 'Far Horizons' is being re-released in May for the summer
with now nearly 20 edits/mixes through top Canadian label

project with Janis Kay continues to grow as well. A new
remix of 'Put Your Hands Together' by Jason Air will be
released this Sring. Also, Janis and I are currently working on
new material in time for a new release before the
summer.
My new
Evolve project 'Real' with Niki Mak had a great initial
response from DJ's around the world, a summary of the some of the
comments is below;

As 2007
draws to an end there has been lots going on.
Firstly, 'Far
Horizons', my track with DJ Cristo and Heidi won an award at the MP3
Awards in London last week. Heidi and Chris performed the track to
an industry audience at the Clapham Grand. We on won the
House/Hardcore/Trance Music award. Go to the link below for

My
project with Janis Kay continues to grow as well. We will be
promoting a great new remix from JJ Royal from the States before
Xmas. The remix was the number 1 downloaded remix by DJs in the USA
when JJ Royal launched it at the end of November. A special thanks
to Gary Cannavo from the States and his music promotion company (www.Masspool.com) for helping us
arrange this. Also, we are working on new material as we speak
!

I also attended a songwriting seminar at the British Academy of Songwriters and Composers with a panel including top producer Steve Levine (Culture Club, Honeyz, The Beach Boys etc) and Kim Appleby (Mel and Kim).
They were both very complimentary about my production of my track with Janis Kay 'Can you feel the fire' (which made my day!). I was also asked to write a review of Chris Bradford's book on songwriting for the Academy magazine (see below).
Janis Kay and I have just finished mastering our first 3 songs together. We're just starting to get copies out to people now and look forward to receiving some good feedback !?
We've had some great remixes of 'Put Your Hands Together' done with www.jasonair.com and JJ Field. Also, top singer Nevada from Sweden features as a guest vocalist on 'Can You Feel the Fire'. Lots going on through
March and April.
My project with DJ Cristo and Heidi 'Far
Horizons' is now finished and mastered. We're now just sorting out
the distribution and a radio promotion campaign. Edits of the tracks
are below including Jason Air's club remix which sounds great and
also Chris and I (under the Plug-in-Sun name) have just done a chill
out mix as well.

I've also been busy on the Janis Kay project. We're currently finishing a new song 'Can You Feel the Fire' and 'Put Your Hands Together'. Jason Air is doing a remix and I'll be doing an extended club mix as well. We're aiming to have the first three songs with remixes finished by late May.
Other news is that DJ Cristo is remixing 'Real' my up and coming Evolve project feat. Niki and there will be an international radio promotion for my Evolve project with Eve in late Spring.

Very busy co-writing and producing lots of tracks at the moment, here is a sneak preview from three of the projects I'm currently working on.
Latest news is that DJ Cristo is remixing 'Real' and we're working together on pulling together a tougher club mix and chill out mix of 'Far Horizons'. And I'm now working on more new songs with Janis !

dance project is now available and is being promoted to
